tar.gzの代替となるオブジェクトストレージ時代のアーカイブ用ファイルフォーマットptarらしい。dedupや暗号化、バージョニングや部分解凍も容易と。オープンソースのGo実装でgo.mod見る限り圧縮はzstdだな。
