Windowsのファイルエクスプローラで.gitがあるフォルダー配下に移動するとgit status相当のModifiedなどが表示され、ウィンドウ下方に現在のbranch名やcommitのahead/behindなどの情報が表示されるようになるらしい。へー隔世の感だ。
