AWS提供のMySQL用ODBCドライバ。RDS/Auroraのフェイルオーバを考慮した実装になっているのでAWS環境で利用するならこれが最適と。WindowsだけでなくmacOS/Linux用も用意されてる。ネイティブクライアントよりもよかったりする？

大量のSYNパケットを投げつけるのに特化したhping3/nping代替実装。hping3やnpingよりも性能が良い。SYN Flood攻撃に相当するので利用する際には自分が管理するネットワーク/サーバにしてね。

Notionのサイトはブラウザ上で動作するWASM実装のSQLiteをキャッシュ用途で使用しており、ページ遷移時が20%高速化されているらしい。レイテンシーが大きい地域ではさらに効果あり。わいわい

記事の最後の方でも指摘されてるけど、ローカルのNPUとクラウド上でできることには大きな隔たりがあるので否定的というのはそれはそう。ただ、会社から貸与されるPCについてはスペック上がる可能性があるので歓迎
